The The last year 2017 was marked as a major security problem for Wi-Fi, powerful WPA2 security protocol is 'KRACKED' many times.  To protect Wi-Fi, WPA3 Wi-Fi security is announced with new and major security protections and soon implemented in Wi-Fi Routers. 

Today's 'KRACK' will be a serious vulnerability in the WPA2 encryption protocol.This thing affected all the equipment that uses Wireless protocols and security for Internet access. 'Wi-Fi Alliance' that promotes Wi-Fi technology and certifies Wi-Fi products announcing a new Wi-Fi security called WPA3 with better security and protections.

First of all, let me tell you that KRACK attack works on all Wi-Fi devices who have WPA1 and WPA2 security. It also affects the hotspot of Android, Apple, Windows and more smartphones. Almost all supported devices and operating systems are at risk of KRACK attack.

To stop KRACK attacks, Wi-Fi Alliance has now announced that it is already working on WPA3 and this new security protocol will bring several protection mechanisms.

New in WPA3 Security Protocol?

• Information on public networks will always be encrypted
• Support for using a smartphone or tablet to set up scurity on IoT devices
• Protection from brute force attacks at the authentication level
• 192-bit security suite to protect networks with higher security requirements (government, industrial, etc)    

Yet Wi-Fi Alliance is working on this protocol and soon implemented on modern Wi-Fi routers and make it supported for previous Wi-Fi routers. Your networks are still unprotected until WPA3 is launched, please update your equipments with latest firmware.
